"My Baby Love" Def Tech, "Up" album

Here's an interesting point: Lilica loves to create piñatas, not wack them silly to their destruction

So, this is how life has presented itself before me: I'm a Mexican-American, Apache man with Spanish links married to a world-traveled, gourmet-cook type experienced Japanese wifey. Together, we've laid out a life in a Japanese city-rural area for and created the most precious child of mixed heritage with a glaringly bright future ahead of her.

All the machismo and victimized thinking of old fall by the wayside when exposed to the brillance of Lilica's future and her new way of interpreting the way the world works. Katsumi and I both teach our own way, our own cultures to our daughter. Yet, this little girl is going to be a great woman, a true citizen of the world, as she conquers limits I never even dreamed of conquering. She has the insight from our parental contributions to show compassion and find truth in the smallest of crevices. Oh, the joy I feel in being her father and helping her understand this world has no limits and is without end, even beyond my own passing.

Happy Mother's Day! Happy Father's Day! Happy Grandparents' Day! ¡Viva Lilica Margarita!
