Honesty in politics?

Would you resign your office after taking a donation of merely 50,000 yen (over $600) from a foreigner because it's the law? Foreign Minister Maehara did.

He shouldn't have done this in the first place, but how many American politicians who have received literally millions of donations from foreigners would do the same?


If only American politicians were so dead-pan honest...
