Tranquility, in this near-midnight silence, has pervasively entrenched my entire being. I am renewed, refreshed and, above all, much cooler than the recently finished summer had allowed me to be.
The fishscales in the sky only a day ago highlighted this change of weather and easing of tension. My daughter's laughter and persistence in succeeding in her potty training arouses my essential paternal fibers to fuse into a burst of streaming energy at work. I admire her charm and, most importantly, the strength of her spirit because Lilica is a fiesty character. Her growth and natural progress toward full-blown childhood inspire me to continue to learn and adapt in my work as a teacher. She fuels the motivation that drives my passion for my job and for our lives.
Wifey, you support me and provide me with such delicious food, made from your ingenuity and creative palette. You keep our daughter in high spirits as you achieve daily small goals in your housework. Yours is the life I intertwine mine with forever because our destiny is one. This life that we continue to build is rooted in our trust and love for each other and for all of our source of strength, our family.
At last, we made it through the sweltering summer and now we can harvest the fruits of our labor and preparation. Soon, I'll reap the rice I helped to grow and bring it home to feed our family and nourish our bodies. Now, it is time to rest.
