Senator Dianne Feinstein, the senior Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, said on Twitter: "Confirming Brett Kavanaugh in the face of credible allegations of sexual assault that were not thoroughly investigated, and his belligerent, partisan performance...undermines the legitimacy of the Supreme Court."

I have heard and read that the promise of America and its potential as a freedom-loving, multicultural embracing and economically equalizing society is a promise of the FUTURE, not the present. I want to address what's happening right now in the USA, before we no longer have any recognizable form of its existence. The politics of our nation are swinging hard right, without previous forethought of the consequences nor shame of the hardships caused by those consequences upon the other nations of the world. When there is an imbalance, it begets a ripple effect.
By the way, this latest video by Eminem "Venom" visually expresses the way ideology spreads.
If the US falls by way of Fascist Italy or Nazi Germany, we will forever be a regrettable footnote in history as a country that almost reached the pinnacle of society's promise. We were almost that altruistic, democratic society that gives a person every chance to be themselves and find their own happiness, unencumbered by anything other than intruding on the happiness of others. If we let our country be overrun by bigoted, self-victimizing elites and their "person" corporations, then the sacrifice made by our noble veterans, the blood of the ancestors shed to create this "beacon on a hill," was for not and adds nothing to the further evolution of mankind.
We can't let this happen.
