"At the buzzer (Just barely)."
For over a month now, at my Junior High School Principal's request, I've created little snipets of English "brush-up" lessons for all of the teachers during the Tuesday morning meetings. We decided to call them "1 Point English" lessons that are designed to let even the majority of non-English speakers pick up tidbits of idiomatic and/or useful phrases in English.
The word choices are entirely mine, but I've had a lot of help from my wifey and from the principal with the "tip" section I created to be all in Japanese. My goal is that these lessons, as short as they are, can help give at least some more encouragement to the teachers. We're hoping to get everyone's hearing and communication skills upgraded in anticipation of the G7 Education Summit that will be taking place in Kurashiki in late March.
