Renewal

There is a sense of hope and a discovery of unrefined power that I find inside myself every year when I am given the opportunity to renew the contract of my employment. Year-to-year renewal is challenging in the sense that it keeps me at the top of my game, professionally investing myself in the diligent work of English language education in Japan. It is also re-engages my spirit knowing that my work is valued and full of potential for growth.

It is a time of rebirth, too. I can ensure my awareness of the circumstances in our lives and verify that they are as we would like them to be. If something needs to change, I can change it. It begins with me.
