“Welcome back.” That’s what I tell myself after my first day back at work from my very first bout with the flu. I am completely recovered and, so far, none of my family has caught the Type A of this virus. My wifey is showing signs of a little cough but, hopefully, it won’t amount to much.

My mother-in-law arrived today from Matsuyama. She'll probably stay a week or so with us during the spring break. Lilica is very excited. We are already in "party mode." It's good to have more family visit us.

P.S. This article by Chris Hedges “The Day that TV News Died” is of particular interest at the moment. We need many more journalists like this man to empower our collective, revolutionary stance when speaking truth to power. Let’s not be like Kipling’s Bandar-log monkeys!!!
