A different path
• 笑う門には福来る ("Around laughter's corner, good fortune comes")
• Something that suprised me today: I'm listed as a reviewer in last year's Japan Association for Language Teaching (JALT) Conference Proceedings 2011. JALT Conference Proceedings Editorial Staff - 2012 (for JALT2011)
• Sleep is underestimated by those that need it the most.
• The 3rd Year students I've been teaching since they entered our Junior High are now starting to come around and have interesting conversations with me.
What kind of man am I? The evolution in progress stresses that I avoid distress and negativity while aspiring to invigorate the creative fire that still flickers deep within my spirit. That is to say that I am fighting hard to enrich my life with artistic and intellectual challenges that will push my inner capacity to its peak, sublimest blossom. My inner flower, rooted in soil unknown to my ancestors, is urging me to be ready to perform. Now all that awaits is the timing and the opportunity.
I want more and I need to provide more for my family's enrichment. We need a homestead, a base on which to firmly establish what we've already created, a loving and supportive home environment. I need to find a way to expand our horizons as well as aim for the next level of my professional career as a teacher and a lifelong learner. This isn't to say I'm ready to move on from my position; it means I'm ready to do more with it.

Let's make the best possible home we can with ample amounts of patience, love and sincere understanding of one another's feelings.
